Expat Home Buyer
S cott Savage and Denise McNaught were repatriating from Nambia and wanted a home close to St Peter’s Lutheran College in Indooroopilly where their children had started attending school. Their ideal home would be a low maintenance brick home with 4 bedrooms, and a study, 2+ bathrooms, multiple living spaces, and have a covered patio with a pool for outdoor entertaining. The size of the block needed to be at least 600m2 and the property also needed to be close to the CBD, Airport and public transport.
After an extensive search, we identified a large brick home in good condition on a 1,028m2 block. It featured 4 bedrooms and a study, 3 bathrooms, multiple living spaces with modern finishes, double carport and a large covered outdoor area with a pool. It was close to public transport and parks, had easy access to the CBD and Airport and was a 15-minute drive to St Peter’s. The property was listed for sale at $939,000; however, we were able to negotiate the purchase price to $920,000.
